Moody Blue
Blue, is a 8-year-old Standardbred gelding: Blue has a very special place in my heart. I met him as a three-year-old stud colt that was stuck in a back corner of a musty old barn. He wasn't fast enough on the race track and they were worried he might come up lame if they pushed him too much so they were going to send him to the auction. It was love at first sight, even if I was a bit scared of him at first. He was a bit of a challenge at first, but once I found what worked well for him we were laughing. We have gone through a lot together and will continue to go through much more. He has taught me so much and is my closest companion. Blue is quite playful and mischievous, has a great amount of try and will do anything for a treat.
Chances R I'm Cool
Chance, is a 6-year-old sorrel overo Paint x Quarter Horse gelding: I first saw Chance in the back of a cattle trailer at the local auction, he was skinny, lanky, half of his mane and tail looked like they had been chewed off but something about him captivated my heart and I had to have him. A friend and I bought him and begun his training. He was a fast learner, eager to please and developed into a handsome well built horse. We sold him, as that was our goal and I instantly regretted it, but told myself that if it was meant to be he'd find his way back to me, and he did. Unfortunately he had become distrustful and fearful. I continue to build his confidence and help him to see the horse he truly is. He is as sharp as a tack, high spirited and sensitive.
Yellow Mount FWS
Kallie, is a 12-year-old bay tobiano Paint Horse mare: She originally came to me as a boarder, and I grew quite attached to the skittish and frightened mare. Her whole life she had never been given much reason to trust people or even want to try, but she is learning to trust me, slowly but surely. Kallie really thrives on the Parelli Natural Horsemanship, I believe she is glad to finally have a person that speaks her language. She is very quick to learn new things and we are flying through Level 1, she is so sensitive she is even working on some Level 2 and 3 On-Line skills. She has had 7 foals , the latest, Tru, arrived May 2009 and was welcomed it into the world the Parelli way. Raising her properly from the start of her life.
Dun Tru Perfection
Tru, is a 4-month-old red dun tobiano Paint Horse filly. She was born here at Meadow Brook Stables May 8th, 2009. She was imprinted at birth and has been handled daily. She is a wonderful addition to the crew. She is a quick and talented learner, always keen to learn something new. She is also fearless and has to be one of the first to check out anything "new" in the paddock.
